Primary Section

CMI primary section consists of classes I to V and offers the blooming buds colourful, Ventilated and digitalized classrooms.

Children are trained in public speaking and reading stories to imbibe the communication skill. Vocabulary and quiz- increase language and general knowledge.

Life skills training include Swimming, Sports, field trips, exhibitions, notice board competitions, IDS activity, goal setting and co-curricular activities.

The Project presentations are the highlight of our school which develop a foundation for in depth study of a particular topic as well as strengthen their public speaking skills.

Virtue practice, Kids fest, Arts fest, and Cultural programmes foster the social skills.

Family Get-together, another unique feature - A gathering of parents and students of each class, with the students conducting all the programmes. Making them great leaders with no stage fear

The curriculum is imparted in a student-centric manner. It helps students to become self-reliant and focused. It creates a tuition-free environment to spend more quality time with the family.

ISA/IDS

CMI Public School has been recognized by the BRITISH COUNCIL through the ISA (International School Award) awarded to CMI Public School in 2014. CMI Public School strives to build and train students to become smart, independent individuals who can respect others and their cultures, live and work in a changing world and can challenge the fast-growing global equations. In collaboration with The Royal Docks Community School, London, the students and teachers of both the schools do various projects, activities and also visit the each other.

Student Exchange Programme

To become internationally exposed and to view the world in a macro level, the students are given an opportunity to visit foreign countries especially the USA.

Teachers Exchange Programme

As educators, teachers are also backed up with visiting foreign countries to formulate new teaching strategies thus bringing in a global perspective towards education.

Seminar

An integral part of all the studies, Seminars are prepared and presented from Class VI onwards. Children select topics they are interested in. After a competition, the selected presentations are compiled into a book named “Facets of the World around Us” which is released on the Annual day celebration.

Notice Board

Notice board competitions are held for the students to present their ideas on various issues prevailing in the world. Through this, teamwork, creativity and openness to realistic life, sets in among the children.

Debates

To generate effective critical thinking skills through tackling primary issues on a given topic, Debates are held every month from classes VI upwards.

Exhibition

Hands on work or learning by doing is highlighted through exhibitions. Eight exhibitions are conducted in a year for Class 1 upwards.

Quiz Bowl

To stay abreast with all the knowledge that is being arrived at daily, the students from class 1- 11 have a quiz competition called quiz bowl, held every month.

Field Trips

To make learning more research oriented and to give a three-dimensional view of the world we live in, Field trips are organized for classes 1- XII.
